Gateway Pet Hospital is a full-service animal hospital located in San Ramon, CA. We welcome both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our veterinarians, Harpreet Sekhon and Aradhana Sekhon, have combined 15 years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. We are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, calm and we have the expertise to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. We also serve Dublin, Pleasanton, Danville, Asco, Diablo and Alamo, California.

Harpreet Sekhon, DVM
Veterinarian
Growing up around livestock, Dr. Harpreet Sekhon developed an aptitude in animal care that guided him to and through vet school. He started his DVM degree at Punjab Agricultural University, India, and finished at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin, Madison, in August 2005. Dr. Sekohn has been practicing small animal medicine for 9 years. Currently, he live in Dublin with his wife, Aradhana Sekhon, his parents, and children, Kunver and Amira. Apart from taking care of furry kids, Dr. Sekhon enjoy reading, movies and spending time with family.

Aradhana Sekhon, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Aradhana Sekhon completed her DVM program at Punjab Agricultural University, India, followed by Master’s program at the same institute. She moved to Melbourne, Australia with her family and completed a second Master of Parasitology program at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Sekhon moved to the US in 2009 and has since changed her focus to clinical medicine. When she is not working, she enjoy cooking, traveling, photography and spending time with family.

Harsheen Dyal, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Dyal grew up in the Bay Area and Central Valley, California. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from CSU East Bay in Biology emphasizing in Physiology and a Minor in Chemistry. She graduated from Michigan State University with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Before and during vet school, Dr. Dyal has also worked with her mentor (Dr. Sekhons) as a veterinary assistant for the past 7 years.
Dr. Dyal also enjoys practicing Fear-Free methods of veterinary care and is a Level 2 Certified Fear-Free Professional. She additionally holds numerous certifications in compassionate euthanasia (CAETA), QPR Suicide Prevention, and Diversity and Inclusion in Veterinary Medicine (Purdue University). Professionally, Dr. Dyal is passionate about effective client communication and fostering the human-animal bond. She loves evidence-based medicine and enjoys internal medicine cases, surgery and preventive medicine.
After four years in the Midwest, Dr. Dyal was eager to return to familiar sunny skies to provide veterinary care to the Tri-Valley community. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
